John Lofgren Russell Southern T-shirt

In great condition. Damm you think you know it all eh... and along comes this tee, John Lofgren well known for his Leather work spins in with a low ball and presents this Tee. In the same league  league as Buzz Rickson or Joe McCoy. It not only re surfaces a major collector  T-shirt brand  Russell Southern Company  but manages to put it all together with the details that we thought had long well passed. A wicked one pocket shirt with a heavy, heavy Screen Print right over the pocket edge, now that's deliberately showing off the graphic of the Army Donkey kicking the US Navy into touch. Very like the 'Fear the Goat' tee listed but predating to the Artillery battery of the 1950's who took a Donkey as it's mascot  but i sense this idea comes earlier in WW2 when Merrill's Marauders humped Artillery Pieces around the Mountains and Jungle Terrain of Burma , China & India strapped alongside Donkeys & Mules.

This shirt is ring spun, pucker heavy weight cotton that is making a point but also praising  the Artisan Manufacture nature of Japan. Top Class.
